Irreversible caries or common caries-related infections in primary teeth may require removal of primary teeth. The placeholders are the tools that should be done to protect the jaw arc length in early milk tooth losses. In early milk tooth loss in the back teeth, the lost tooth causes the neighboring teeth to shift or fall over to that area. As a result, the length of the arch required for permanent teeth is shortened, and the area where the small molars and canine teeth should come is narrowed. Small molars and canine teeth may also be buried or perplexed due to the resulting constriction. In such a case, the need for orthodontic correction occurs in a child who would not normally need orthodontic treatment.
